After a busy of radio hosting and being a judge on Norway's Got Talent, award winning eurodance artist Julie Bergen celebrates with single 'Dive' via Karate Records - her own label.

Through this year Julie has shown a playful side, that's not afraid to take risks and willing to lose control. Julie explains with the songwriting process “‘Dive’ is not a song with an obvious deeper meaning, but there is - as always- something hidden underneath. All my creativity comes from within me, which puts a personal and important impact into everything I write. The inspiration behind ‘Dive” is definitely the fact that you learn and grow more when you're not afraid to let go. And maybe even more when things don't go the way you planned.”

Bergan took a leap when she went into a session with Em Walcott (Zara Larsson, Alicia Keys, Tayla Parx, Anitta, Disclosure) and Jarly (Sigala, Becky Hill, Cash Cash, Thomas Stenström). She had worked briefly with Em during Covid, but never met any of them. The result was immediate chemistry, dancing in the studio and “Dive”

Bergan describes the experience saying “I've changed the way I think a little, and I feel like it's motivated both me and others. It's given me a new freedom. That freedom from seeking comfort and safety has given me new experiences, new knowledge and new music. It makes me keep wanting to say yes, and throwing myself into the unknown, again and again.”

Bergan has over 1.5 billion streams on Spotify so far. She made her artist debut with "Supernova" as a feature for Cir. In 2023, Bergan Karate Records, where she has complete artistic control and has entered into a collaboration with Sony Music Norway.

Bergan has had an extremely busy year hosting several TV programs, writing, producing and even directing some of her own music videos has reaching millions of streams and continues on her upwards trajectory.
