DISCO BAMBINO DROPS IRRESISTIBLE NEW TRACK ‘A TE’

Disco Bambino, acclaimed curator and producer known for his revival of the Italian disco movement, is set to release his latest single ‘A Te’. This funky, upbeat track channels the vibrant energy of a retro lounge party. ‘A Te’ features irresistibly catchy lyrics, infused with a warm melody, perfectly evoking the feeling of a breezy European night. "A Te'' echoes timeless disco with the usage of acoustic elements like brass, woodwind, live bass, and strings. Though it's mostly in English, the song also contains some Italian words as a tribute to Italian disco culture.

This in turn offers a versatile sound: from sun-drenched terraces to lively dance floors. With its dynamic beats and smooth melodies, "A Te" promises to be a standout hit, capturing the essence of Disco Bambino’s signature style—where past and present collide in a celebration of music that is both familiar and refreshingly new. Further amplified with the creative, including the artwork cover that features Beppe at age 5 singing at a local talent show in Bari, Italy in 1979.

Speaking more on the track, Disco Bambino says: "A te" means "Dedicated to you". The song is an ode to the important people and passions in our life - in my case to music that has been the one constant element since the beginning of my life; and also dedicated to my mom who always supported this passion since I was 3 years old.

Disco Bambino is the artistic alias of Beppe Savoni, a producer and music curator based in New York City. His continually evolving project is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the unique sound of Italian disco culture from the 1970s and 1980s, including obscure and tracks one may have otherwise forgotten about. Savoni’s work includes reworking and re-editing classic tracks, bringing a modern twist to vintage disco music. He remains known for his meticulous curatorial approach to the Italian pop, Italian disco and Italodisco genres, and dedication to preserving their unique sounds and styles. This has made Disco Bambino popular. When this project comes to life in the live circuit, Disco Bambino’s DJ sets combine the nostalgic elements of the project creatively too, featuring video/artwork montages of Italian TV archival footage created by an art director, who co-wrote the song.

Elsewhere, Disco Bambino’s other projects include the celebrated Radio Pornella, a series of mixtapes exploring and applauding the erotism culture in Italian disco culture in the 1970s and 1980s.
